How to budget for exclusive leads in the UK

A practical guide for UK home improvement and insurance firms: compare quotes, model an illustrative budget and calculate cost per booked job.

The figures below are illustrative budgeting assumptions. They are not researched market rates, campaign results or advertised Leads Bank prices. Request a written quote for your area, job types, qualification criteria and lead volume before making a budget decision.

The metric that matters

Don't buy on price per lead - buy on cost per job

A cheaper lead is no bargain if it never converts. What matters is your cost per booked job: total lead spend divided by the jobs you actually win. Compare actual quotes and conversion rates. A higher-priced lead only improves your cost per job if it produces enough additional booked work.

How much should I pay for an exclusive lead?

It depends on your trade, area and results. Compare quoted prices with your own observed close rate and margin per job. This guide uses illustrative planning figures and does not provide a verified market benchmark or a Leads Bank price list.

Why are exclusive leads more expensive than shared leads?

An exclusive lead is delivered to one buyer; a shared lead is sold to more than one. Quotes depend on the supplier, qualification and area. Exclusivity prevents the supplier reselling the enquiry, but does not guarantee a booking or stop the customer contacting other firms independently.

Are there setup fees or contracts?

No. Leads Bank works on a pay-per-lead basis with no setup fee and no long-term contract. You agree volume and price up front and can pause or scale at any time.
